This class offers an adaptive approach to practicing yoga, thereby allowing bodies with stiffness, soreness or some limitations to participate without feeling excluded during any part of class. Aspects of this class include standing, balancing postures, hip and spinal flexibility and appropriate core strengthening. Breathing and meditation techniques to calm the mind are included in every class as well.
Appropriate for active older adults with good body awareness and/or those who may have some physical limitations. Also appropriate for “non-seniors” that want a non-competitive yoga class.
This is a small group class, limited to 6 students.
