I love this one so much! It’s very easy to figure out!
This pose is included in “The Year of Balance” 5-Minute DIY yoga class series because it is my observation that with age and hunching comes more difficulty balancing. When you stretch the front of the shoulders and strengthen the upper back, then you make it possible for your upper thoracic and cervical vertebrae to get into natural alignment.
This pose is so much easier than it sounds like it should be!
After you can accomplish holding it for about 1 -2 minutes here, then inch (literally move 1 inch) away from the wall.
It’s a really effective counter-pose that supports achy necks and upper backs. Give it a try!!
