Late Summer Greetings fellow free spirits,

“Gentle Flow” is a beautiful vinyasa that will stimulate the circulatory system, give your legs a great stretch, strengthen your arms, and is just all around, a good purification! I sometimes refer to this vinyasa as “Block Flow,” because many of us use 2 blocks (some people even use 4 blocks) to gracefully get the leg forward during the transition from Mountain to Runner.

Blocks are important to help your alignment, and avoid struggling.

Here’s a little clip of what I’m talking about, see if you can tell the difference. (If you can’t see the difference then my facial expression should help you!) Blocks give us the space that makes it possible to feel graceful and fluid (as opposed to frustrating).
